The following is a culinary review written by an anonymous HNGRY Trends member who was sent on assignment to sample Wonder's latest brick-and-mortar concept that straddles the line between a fast casual restaurant and a delivery-optimized ghost kitchen. I’m tired. Tired from 2023 (already). Tired from the news: the now-in-its-second-year war in Ukraine, the prospect of another few years of the orange man, a seemingly never-ending supply of new viruses to worry about. But mostly I’m tired because I slept in a bathtub last night. In a bathtub, next to my very-much-no-longer-in-her-early-20s girlfriend who slept on the bathroom floor after mixing together a few too many glasses of champagne and red wine (and tequila) for her birthday. As I twist and turn, trying to find the optimal configuration for a 6’1’’, 240-pound frame in a small NYC bathtub, it hits me– β€œshit, I have to write that review tomorrow.”
