ŌURA X Dexcom Builds Metabolic Health Hub For Personalized Nutrition Insights

Last November, healthcare tech giant Dexcom ($DXCM) made a strategic $75mm investment into sleep tracking ring startup ŌURA at a $5bn+ valuation with the goal of integrating its continuous glucose monitors (CGM) into the ŌURA platform. A few months prior, Dexcom launched Stelo, the first FDA-approved, over-the-counter CGM sensor in the US. By May, ŌURA added meal and glucose tracking into its mobile app and began selling Dexcom’s Stelo 30-day sensor packs on its website for $99. Over the past week and a half, HNGRY has been testing out the integration to get a firsthand look at the future of personalized nutrition for the masses.
