This week, the HNGRY Trends community hosted a live discussion about the future of personalized nutrition with Dylan McDonnell and Erica Anderman, the founders of Foodini, a dietary intelligence platform for food preferences and intolerances. While today it is starting off building custom allergy/dietary menus for restaurants, Foodiniβs longer-term goal is to also tap into the vast amount of health-related wearable and diagnostic data in order to help merchants better tailor their menus to the needs of the modern consumer. During the chat, we also discussed whether vertically integrated players like Wonder and CloudKitchens have an advantage in their ability to deliver this experience over other independents and groups, as founders Travis Kalanick and Marc Lore have recently proclaimed.
